Chapter 1 Korean Food again
Hihi!!
First of all, i am back in the tracks!! And sorry for my parents i did not leave any news of my exiting life, though!! Yes i was very busy those days and quite happy to be being franck, cause simply i was more productive in 2 weeks than i was equivalently for the passed few months... then i will try to keep this output, as much as i can, and above all i will raise my blog to a much more better rank than the one i left it those days: more information about me korea, and i hope more comments!! -_-;;
Yes as you can read below, i was spending my time in my favorite city, Busan (부산), and i did quite well eat, rest, play and gain weight... but i am happy now since everythings since to go well, and fast so i like it!
I named this article from the chapter1 (food) because i forgot to tell what kind of food i did or should have eat during a special day like 추석 (Chu seok)!
Usually, in Korean we should eat a lot of very good foods lovely prepared by the mother(s) of the family, since every restaurants are closed or supposed to be. Then i did, i ate bibimpap (비빔밥, something my father do remember, hey dad!!) this is a mixed rice with vegetables, beaf meat, sesam oil, and red pepper sauce, wonderful and very much refreshing, i never heard someone complain about it personnally! I also tried, spicy and sweet fried chicken (wow), 수재비(soo jebi) which is a floor paste cooked in a fish and vegetale soup, very nice too. I have to say that in 3 days i could try 5 meals a day, so, there are much things i won't remember!!!
One very bad point was the ginseng mixture i had to drink. Well, once a year (추석 때, for example chuseok), you have to take you force back from the ginseng, and believe me, it is not like tea (light), neither like soup, but crushin fine plate and bitterly tasty, arghhhhh!!! Worse than the cod liver oil, than my mother used to make me drink, i never knew the effects by the way!! Mom, any comments? (Don't say i am crazy now!)
One thing funny with the Korean culture is that if you listen them speaking, everything in Korean is good for health or for strength! I mean Sexual strenght the MOJO!! For example, if you think you have a MOJO problem multiple choices are disposal!! You can eat Ginseng of course, Ginger is good also, but these are famous and well known from western people nowdays. One thing you won't think about is the 보신탕 (boshin tang), the dog meat soup, mainly eaten by man, but nowdays because most of families have pets, LOL, lost of tradditions snif -_-, ! Something else to eat is 정어 (cheong eo), the fried eal, which meat is extremly soft and tasty, and in my opinion even more delicious with a sweet and spicy sauce (i know the best restaurant in Daejeon!!). Anyway, you could find any other solutions if those quoted ones do not satisfy your taste. However, if you have to come in Korea, you should try them because, in my opinion those are part of losing tradditions, and are strange and different things you could and have to try when you go abroad! Moreover, Korean restaurant rise and fall lile mushrooms with the fashion of the moment. The dog meat soup restaurants are more and more difficult to find, because the fashion is decreasing, and it is more and more illegal (i wonder if?).
After this pleasant week end, i feel my MOJO at the top and my health in the highest charts, then i just have to earn more money and to be famous, i would be blessed!!
best regards,
Charles
PS: i still hate administration by the way! (i mean PG administration!)
