Haaaaa interesting:

Yesterday i was watching this movie "an inconvinient truth" from Al gore. This movie mainly deals with the misconception we have of our actions on our planet. It very well presented and i would say that this movie is a lot dramatized ...... but for a very dramatic situation.

We are not blind or dumb but just compleasant i guess too much, the comfort of our lives makes be the frog in the slowing water (which image is used in the movie). I highly recommend this movie, even though most of the things you will see are known from you.

Another rise of awareness suddenly appears to me when, i saw the snow for the first time this year. What changed between 2 years ago is that at this time everyone was wearing t-shirt and complaining it was still hot enough to use AC. Now the temperature has felt under the 8deg, and all you say is: dam freezing cold today!! Also the snow in my island for the second time in 3 years.... i mean cant we see that many things are goign wrong???

Anyway... i am doing my best and i hope that you also do, keep in mind that your little contribution now count ^^

best,
charles

Heyhey!!!

I am sinking somewhere over the rainbow... seriously how are you doing guys? If there are still some people reading this blog.

Ok let's say that i am super over busy, i apologize again for that it's kind of independent of my will (but i am willing to be that busy to succeed anyway).

Just to say that the proejct of the new website is going well i think i will be able to do somethign quite interesting (whenever i have time to finish it). I expect myself to finish this project after i come back from my trip to REUNION (which will be in december).

For now, i wish i had a forum so that the discussion would be more interacting, but what about you guys and the winter? (it is still something new for me ^^).

a picture of a ~80 floor building in shanghai (taken by a friend of mine). I hear that shanghai is becoming a city with more and more huge structures like these.. impressing.

Hi dears (i would say twinny more directly ^^):

Yeah after love actually is all around, Nuc actually is all around. Our world is a huge race toward the dissuasive possession of Nuc weapons: are you afraid?

Living in Europe we don't feel it much so our concern for the rest of the world is pretty low (which actually should change moving to Africa, south America or Asia). Here, the atmosphere is getting colder (not yet a Nuc winter) and finally the taste of fall taint our trees with bright and warm colors.

My projects are like this fall, running late, dealing with hot days and cold nights, in other words stuck in a rut!
In some sense it's not a big deal, i have no new material to post and as you might have notice my articles are showing rarely.
Sure thing is i ain't give it up. Seriously, i keep it in mind but i am pretty busy doing other stuffs, and when i am not busy, i train for music, meet some friends, drink, dance, sleep... or i live if you will. I realize how long i could pass in front of a computer and it's quite depressing. I am the guy who screams about all the wastes that can be generated in a life and sometimes i feel like i am the king of it (waste).
Spending so much time using my comp isn't a waste in itself, but when you are like me using a keyboard and looking at 2 screens for more than 14hours a day, you can ask yourself what the hell. Recently i have been working more than 90% of the time i spend on my computer (>12h). The only reason i am doing like this is that i am on many projects and none of them would relieve me before my holidays. The waste is  happening now when i  keep the dynamics of the busy time and when i actually do nothing with my computer (when i have things to do).

In summary, i am tired anyway and i should get back to work (pretty contradictory isn't it :D). My friends would agree that nowadays being a student (more than a worker) is more of the slavery than education... no regrets i could whisk my students latter...

best regards,
charles

ps: i dont make much sense sorry

Dear Readers:

i am not dead, not yet... but who's afraid ????

You might know that in the current situation living in south Korea sounds really dangerous and actually, i am starting to think so!

Well the news recently broadcast Kim Jeong Il will and action in the acquisition of the nuclear weapon (it is not yet proved that he actually do have a functional one) and south korean among others starts to reactivate its military vigilance to a red alert ahhhhhhhhh.

Personally i have nothing to fear, except a H bomb launch over deaejon (which would be a great target somehow). I am mostly afraid for my friends since they all have a duty for the army and if there is any trouble they would have to go for it which is really unfair. (unfair because it would be because of a crazy mad fanatic).

Yet, the Korean and US air force is flying over our heads night and day (i feel secure by that).

My next shopping will be for a fast bike to escape an eventual nuc blast, but actually it would be a more convenient way to buy my food but let's say a double usage for this future new thing.

for now i go to take some rest, my mute state was induced by the recent work i am doing and it is far from being finished ^^.

best kiss love and nuc later.

HI guys:

September ends and the fall is coming further.
I am happy because inspiration is coming and i think i will have better materials to accomplish the kind of music i wanna do. Yes, in other words i bought some equipment (pedal effector, computer) in order to ensure a better processing of my new compositions. I am currently working harder on making new songs because i think i did not yet find the perfect match with my style, actually i am not really sure of what kind of music i am able to create, and if i can reproduce is following a specific style.

I guess lots of artist (if i can consider myself as one of them) should have those "looking for my identity moment" which is working on yourself and freeing your mind to obtain the natural source of your inspiration, i would say its one's heart.

I agree that things are going slowly and it will be hard for you to wait the time i need to create. My current project is the website to expose my beginning musical quest and also the production of a solo album, which will contain Galaxy heart as a  first track. I currently have 2 or 3 more songs i have composed alone, which i need to put on paper and digitize so that you could enjoy it fully (plus one currently in process). I will take time to do that and i am sure you could like it once i am done.

Next week is a nation vacation coming so i will enjoy a full week off and that will be a relief for me (this week is like hell :D).

This picture was taken during my last trip with my lab (do anyone know this game (twister) it's kind of funny when you are drunk :D

Hi dear:

Whatever i could say, september is marked by a renewed interest for music.

My weakest point as a music compositor and interpret , is probably than i am not enough aware of the wide diversity that is offered by this world.

Recently i rediscovered those bands or new artists, amoung which are remy shand, marc broussard, Muse, jamiroquai, jamie cullum. In brief, i am trying to introduce a touch of blues jazz seoul in what i am doing i need it badly.

I am in need of originality and composition, so let's get to it and peace on earth

BTW, thx to rithy for sending me this email and this illarious video clip, check it out yourself:

Hi dear:

Typical of a bad month is the succession of hazardous events (which at least appear that way) and are actually combined in a single moment: and at that moment you feel like sourrounded by bad luck.

This month is one of those month when you feel it bad, and it comes bad.

To be more concrete, following the fall, the difficult (and busy) beginning of the semester, comes time for my band to take a BREAK. I am just beginning to hate that word, because you can sense that in any relationship (band, friend, love), taking a break is often synonym of breaking up. Well, i am not there yet, it's is just a break for now.

My band will rest for a month. This decision is mainly due to the fact that suddenly evryon is busy doing their own stuffs (work-related mainly) and that there are few spare time to make rehearsals, which is kind of bad for a band, isn't it.

Anyway, it will be a good opportunity for me to renew a relation with my english friend and start new compositions.

cheers, nothing's ending yet hehe

Hi there:

To use the regular konglish (korean-english, equivalent expression of the franglais but for koreans), i would say: "long time no see!" (ok so much for nothing, but i am still not really sure that this expression is was made by a native speaker at the first place.

WOw, can you feel that, yes i am talking about fall. Suddenly, during a calm and rainy morning of september, automn knowcked at our doors, whitout notification of course!

Temperatures felt 5 to 10 degrees down, the sunrise and set orchestrate a shorter day already and my dear soul recall the famous depression of the changin season: welcome back mister fall and tell your sister winter to f.. off as soon as possible, because i am not sure that i could stand it this year.

Kidding of course, there are good points to have winters, such as snow (beautiful and entertaining if you have anough money to go skying), winter clothes, sexier than ever in your triple layer "doudoune", and the well expected heater in the shower which won't work again and allow you to have happy mornings for more than 3 months... thanks god i like this time of the year!

OK, what's the news down in your life guys. This blog need serious heat from heart, so that it won't get frozen by the first blizzard (or wt hell am i doing but also how beautiful!).

The new music website in on road, and i hope will be usefull for mor einteraction with you guys, but in the meantime let's groove this fall up!

best

ps: as anyone understood any of my words?? I feel like i can't do that myself so dont be afraid to say it trully!

Hi dear:

I feel like i have already been silent for too long. There are many stories to tell and not enough time for me to spend (unfortunately because i like it) to tell them.

First about my graduation:

As you might have seen the album on the right column of this blog, i had a graduation ceremony (something that don't really happen in France) so it was a great experience really. I also was chosen as representative of my department so i had to go on stage to take my diploma in the name of Biosystems Dpt., but don't ask me why i was designated i am unable to tell.

For the graduation, usually all your family and friends are present to congratulate you and offer you presents and take pictures. Ok i was a little bit alone this day but well, i won't ask my parents to come one day in korea for that... i had some labmate with me though (enough??? i dunno ^^). Good experience anyway.

About my band, the brand new band. After my little experience on the KAIST stage during the KAIST spring festival, i experienced the live stage in korea for the first time, that was with the Galaxy Heart.
The band has changed for bad and for good, with a new guitarist and new songs. We took our chances in a trip to KwangJoo, in the south of Korea. We have been in a ROck Live Club (quite rare actually in Korea). In this Live CLub, we had the opportunity to actually do a real live concert for 30 to 40 minutes (6 songs and talking about things :D). That was simply great, with a good response from the public.
Of course that wasn't perfect since i am the less professional of the band, i made mistake (which i nightmare sometimes).

In the live club, it was literally 45 degree Celsius and the spot light right in my eyes disturbed even more my natural stress, making me shivering and hesitating on my guitar. The beginning was a bit messy due to me, i could not really hear me singing too. My guitarist also had some volume problem especially for the solo, so he was trying to tune the volume all along without success (and the engineer was not very helpful for that at this moment).
Conclusion, more practice are needed, new song for a longer concert and brand new spirit. I need to have more fun on the stage (overwhelming stress is not the right solution heing!!). That's for next time hehe.

Enjoy the album i posted, i am sorry if there is no photos of us on stage, we had no photograph to help us on that.

best regards,
Charles
